The filter element is equipped with an internal water-absorbing medium, which can lock water inside the structure through chemical means while filtering out particles in the fuel. Velcon's Aquadon diesel (AD) filter can effectively remove particles and moisture contaminants from the fuel, meeting strict downstream ISO 4406 and ASTM D975 cleanliness standards, and is suitable for diesel or biodiesel fuels. The AD design adopts a structure combining multiple layers of highly efficient and long-lasting particle-capturing media with water-absorbing media.
